I turn 60 in May. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of my being diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS).
I work out daily, take no medications and am pain free. In 2014 I finished first in my AGE category in a 5K race with 750+ participants; BTW: there were 600+ younger and fit for their age folks behind me too. Very recently I was involved in 2 moves with the aid of people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. A 30ish tri-athlete (whom I was REALLY glad to see) kept commenting on: how surprised he was by my strength and endurance for a “guy my age”. I saw the 20 year-old shake his head as I carried a piece of furniture (he passed on carrying alone) up a flight of stairs.
I would love to say the reason I’m able to stay incredibly active is that I’m a hall of fame athlete whose DNA just keeps on going and going. Not true! In fact the only exceptional aspect of my DNA was anxiety.
The reason I am able to do the things I do is my access to a set of technologies that help restore cellular-health – the foundation of which is high-powered Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy. When you help cells help themselves heal all kinds of wonderful things can happen:
It doesn’t take the IQ of Nikola Tesla (nope, didn’t get that in my DNA either!!!) to know that if your car won’t start that adding more oil isn’t the answer. That is (perhaps) why Mr. Tesla invented the science underlying high-powered PEMF – which acts like a battery charger for cells.
It’s pretty simple: without their innate electrical charge "cells are unable to do the things we need them to do at the level we need them to do it". Yet modern medicine (to which I am very grateful for its intervention in the onset of Guillain Barre) seems completely locked into the thinking that medication is the answer to everything.
Indeed, most nights I have "dinner with" Lester Holt. For 4 to 5 minutes I watch advertisements during which someone close to my age (often bemoaning the fact they ARE my age) describe how: taking some medication may help reduce a symptom of some condition – with the caveat it may cause 20 or so more problems, and to be sure you ask your doctor (because some of the problems caused have proven fatal).
How is it that this is what’s normal for a sixty year-old and (equally) that "consuming some substance which may help one health issue while causing a bunch more is the gold standard of health care"?
If you’re unfamiliar with high-powered PEMF I’d encourage you to investigate it. There’s lots of information available – and hopefully access to PEMF will improve as more people and practitioners learn and experience its true value.
For me high-powered PEMF was the beginning of MY answer to FULL recovery from Guillain Barre Syndrome – and even the anxiety that had gone non-diagnosed for 56 years. PEMF may likewise prove the beginning of a similar outcome for you or someone close to you. I pray it does!
Kindest regards
